About 23rd Cinema Express Awards

Cinema Express a well known and popular Tamil film magazine established in the year 1989  decided to host film awards for successful South Indian Films in the year 1990. Presenting awards for the best categories  in  Tamil,  Telugu,  Malayalam  and  Kannada  films  Cinema  Express  pioneered   award felicitations in South India. Almost all top actors,  actresses,  directors,  producers, cinematographers, music directors,  choreographers,  lyrist  and  other On  and  Off screen  personalities  have  received  the  honor  of   Cinema  Express. Every   year Chennai  awaits  for  Cinema Express  celebrations  as  the  event   presents  a  unique  opportunity  by  bringing  all  top celebrities  from  South India  as  well as Bollywood.

This year for  Cinema Express, its more  than  just an award  celebration. Cinema Express  celebrates its Silver Jubilee while the  New Indian Express group is celebrating the birth centenary  of its  founder Shri Ramnath Goenka. Hence, The New Indian Express has decided to host the celebration in a mega scale, an event never witnessed ever before in chennai.
